About Us
Welcome to our site. DMB Fan Site is the newest DMB Fan Site on the net, made by fans for fans. It has been operating since roughly September of 2005, when it was created by two new DMB fans, James and Adrian. Over the course of a couple months many things started to change... Two new layouts were introduced, each being replaced by the next, until we designed our current layout - our permanent layout. It is a Dave Matthews Band Fan Site run by fans for fans. We try to feature new ideas such as ringtones and lyric interpretations. In April of 2006 our forums got their own domain name, kitkatjam.com. Near the very end of April our site got another make-over, increasing text size, and making the site less cluttered. We are just a rising site, but we are getting there...
And we just about are! In April of 2007, we got our newest maker-over to make the site even less cluttered, CSS coded, and faster loading! Most important of all, we made as many pages as possible, including this one, CSS and HTML 4.1 Strict Validated! However things took a turn when in mid 2008 our old domain name - dmbfansite.com - was stolen. Thus we had to transfer to a new host and get a new domain, the current one, dmbfansite.org. Ironically, this new domain name fits us better as we are much for of an organization (.org) than a company (.com). Due to this change, our forums also got transferred from kitkatjam.com to forums.dmbfansite.org.
The tree you see in our logo is what we like to refer to as the "Dreaming Tree". It symbolizes that this site is like a formal gathering tree, where all can come 'round and celebrate the wonders that this tree gives life to. There are things to see, things to hear, things to watch, and people to talk to. All within one location. We hope you enjoy your stay here :)
Who are we? Well, this website is run by 3 people named James, Adrian, and Rachel. Adrian, the creater, is the designer, coder, etc. James, the co-creater, brings you information, while Rachel writes articles! We are looking forward to hiring new people to help. 'Ello! As you probably have guessed, my name is Adrian. I code this site and bring you occasional information. Now my other interests other than DMB are: Football (Soccer, same thing. It's called Soccer here in Canada but what does football have to do with socks?!), Guitar, Photography, Web-Design, Graphics-Design, and much more which would take forever to list. Hopefully you all enjoy my site!

Hey, and welcome to J&A's DMB Fan Site. I'm James, the co-founder of this site. DMB, Dave Matthews Band, is the greatest band ever! I've been a fan since 2003. I know it doesn't seem that long ago but I was only 11! My favourite DMB songs are Tripping Billies, The Space Between, Don't Drink The Water, JTR, and Bartender, in that order, so I recommend listening to those songs! Hope you like our site!

Hello all..I'm Rachel and I am going to be writing articles about the band for this website. You can post ideas for an article in the forum under the title, Anything. My favorite bands besides DMB are Sting and U2. I also enjoy guitar, writing, and acting. My favorite DMB song is Warehouse, and my favorite Album is Before These Crowded Streets. DMB Fan Site is proudly hosted by Topclasshost. For anyone looking for hosting, we definitely recommend TCH. Through TCH we are able to run this site in PHP and HTML, as well as using MySQL databases. The forum is run under phpBB3 software. The wallpapers have been either made by one of our staff or contributed by fans from across the globe.
